Last night we planned to take the dolphin sunset cruise that we took last year. First the whole fam had dinner at a restaurant called The Back Porch. It was an opened air kind of place with no a/c and it has been VERY muggy the past few days. Thankfully there was a nice breeze so it wasn't too bad. The food was very good, and then it was off to the boat. Last year toward the end of the cruise, there were dozens of dolphins jumping alongside the boat, close enough to touch. I'm not sure if it was the weather, which caused some big waves toward the end of the ride, or what...but we only saw a few dolphins about 50 ft. away at the start of the trip and NONE on the way back in like last year. I was really bummed, but we did see some HUGE jellyfish while we were down below on the lower deck through the glass bottom. It was still fun, and the boys and I got SOAKING wet from the waves. (Mark took a pic, I'll add it later...if he can get his camera to turn back on...it got pretty wet, and now it's not working.) The boys got to "drive" the boat and loved that!
